Steve Maher’s career spans over 35 years. He has worked on projects in the retail, food service, education, health care, recreational and senior living industries. He continues to manage expansion programs, prototype creation and multiple project roll-outs for national retail clients. With the retail industry as his primary focus, Steve is involved directly with retailers as well as with the planning and development of multi-tenant projects. With a focus on the client’s return on investment, he has implemented standardized systems for project feasibility studies, site assessments, project scheduling, cost analysis and expediting, coined ‘TRAC’ (Tenant Redevelopment Adaptation and Conversion). This program is geared towards re-tenanting of vacant or distressed properties. His experience encompasses all phases of architectural development including project visualization, needs assessment, schematic design and project administration. Steve's association with MJM Architects began in 1988. Previously, he worked as a group leader and Project Architect performing design and administration services on numerous ambulatory surgery clinics, diagnostic centers and medical office buildings.
